In reply to: [Facebook] Next/Previous buttons disabled when Facebook plugin is activeHi All,
My testing environment is as follows:
WordPress 3.5
Canvas V5.1.2
WooFramework V5.5.3
Facebook Plugin V1.1.11I can confirm that, when using the default WordPress homepage setting (“Your Latest Posts”), the pagination works correctly, with or without the Facebook plugin active.
When setting the homepage to the “Magazine” page template in Canvas, for example, the issue presents itself.
Is this the case for you as well, Jeremy and Jackie?
Regards,
Matty. The main reason for not enabling theme switching from the frontend is that you’d end up in the backend anyways, once the theme is switched (that’s the default redirect when switching a theme).
Based on the feedback above, I’ll inspect this further and see if I can find a way of integrating this into the plugin without having to switch to the backend after activating a theme. 🙂
Cheers,

In reply to: [Facebook] Next/Previous buttons disabled when Facebook plugin is activeHi All,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
We have since released an update to the WooFramework (the engine that powers all WooThemes themes) to address issues with and further optimise woo_pagination().
Please be sure to upgrade to the latest version of the WooFramework and please advise if the issue persists after upgrading. 🙂
Thanks and regards,

Hi artifaktCom,
Thanks for your feedback on this.
There is currently no ETA on this. While the plugin is certainly prepared (in terms of the HTML markup, etc) to handle a JavaScript slideshow script, this was purposefully left out in order to find the optimal solution without having too many instances of FlexSlider, for example, loading unnecessarily.
We’ll definitely be keeping this as a priority for exploration in future versions.
Thanks again for checking in. 🙂

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Advanced buttonHi Matt,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
This issue has been resolved in WooSidebars version 1.2.1 (just deployed).

In reply to: [WooSidebars] PHP noticed when WP_DEBUG is enabledHi Maor,
My sincerest apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this.
WooSidebars version 1.2.1 (just deployed) addresses the “has_archive” property, setting it to the string “sidebars”.
This should resolve the PHP notice you’ve mentioned above (the “Array to string conversion” notice). 🙂
Thanks and regards,

In reply to: [Features by WooThemes] Demo Site?Hi Michele,
A video is a great idea. Thanks. We have this on our radar. 🙂
In terms of setting up the plugin to work and look right with your theme, this may differ if the theme integrates with the plugin in a particular fashion (such as the “Definition” theme does).
In your case, when using “Definition”, the steps you’ve mentioned are exactly correct.
(Please note that, if you have support access to the WooThemes Help Desk, you can ask questions there if you have future queries when setting up your theme). 🙂
In terms of generally setting up the plugin, a video will definitely help. We’ll keep a note of this, thanks. 🙂
Thanks and regards,

In reply to: [Features by WooThemes] Demo Site?Hi ehong33234,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
At present, we don’t have a demo setup to showcase the admin, no.
I’d recommend downloading the plugin and checking it out. There aren’t many settings and it should be pretty quick to get a few features displayed. 🙂
Thanks and regards,

In reply to: [Testimonials by WooThemes] Request for random orderHi evster,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
You could use the “orderby” parameter and set this to “rand” when using the shortcode.
Please advise if this produces the desired result. 🙂

In reply to: [Testimonials by WooThemes] shortcode does not workHi Xorred,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
As Patrick mentioned, this is intended for displaying a single ID only.
The idea of a comma-separated list could be useful though.
I’ll make a note of this for inspection in a future update to the plugin. 🙂
Thanks and regards,
Matty.Hi merylmccay,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
While transitioning between testimonials is on our radar, the current version of the plugin doesn’t support it, intentionally.
@shafaat Javed – Please note that this support forum is intended for support for the “Testimonials by WooThemes” plugin. Posts on these threads should offer support for the plugin in question, rather than simply redirecting the thread starter to use an alternative plugin. 🙂

In reply to: [Testimonials by WooThemes] Remove author informationHi redapplepuzzle,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
To clarify, the link provided isn’t using the “Testimonials” template tag. The “/testimonials” permalink is for the default testimonials archive.
This is a template file controlled by the theme. While the plugin does provide the “display_author” parameter for turning the author information on and off, the link provided isn’t using the “Testimonials” template tag.
To customise this screen, please make a copy of the “content.php” file in your theme, rename it to “content-tesitmonial.php” and customise to suit. This is the file that controls the display of each individual testimonial. 🙂
Thanks and regards,

In reply to: [Testimonials by WooThemes] rotating ads in any order showing 1 up at a timeHi Georgina,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
To clarify, at this time, JavaScript fade/slide animations are left up to the theme or a custom add-on plugin. The current version of the Testimonials plugin doesn’t support transitions between testimonials.
We will consider this for a possible future update to the plugin. 🙂
Thanks and regards,
Matty.
