One thing that fouled us up for a while was the WordPress cache. We would add events but they wouldn’t appear on the calendar for almost an hour. We tried adjusting the cache settings (Go Daddy hosting) but learned to just flush the cache when we were done adding events.
Not sure your issue is related to the cache, but thought is was worth mentioning.
No, I wasn’t able to resolve this. I changed plug-ins to complete the project.
