In reply to: Invalid comment IDThis is terribly frustrating. So, not one single person in the worldwide WordPress community has experienced this issue:
1 ) The “Quick Edit” and “Reply” links in the comments dashboard are unresponsive.
2 ) Clicking “Edit” in the comments dashboard loads a page with the message “Invalid comment ID” with no other explanation.I have tried the basics – twenty fifteen theme, deactivating ALL plugins, replacing the wp-admin and wp-includes directories and all the main directory files (except wp-config.php), all to no avail. I’ve even tried to revert to WordPress 4.3.
These errors began the moment I upgraded to 4.3.1. Is there no one who can give me an answer beyond, “Have you tried deactivating your plugins?”

– switching to the default 2015 theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. Yes
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.Yes
– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.Yes
We’re at the point now, I suppose, of doing a complete reinstallation of WordPress and hoping that fixes things. Has no one else in all the WordPress Kingdom experienced this issue and found a suitable fix?

In reply to: Comments issue: cannot approve, trash, replyThanks for the reply, Tara. Forgive me if I’m a bit under-informed, but how can a theme affect the WordPress admin side of things? I mentioned the theme just in case there might be any recognizable issues, but the issue is with the way the dashboard is interacting with the comments. I can’t reply or edit comments from the dashboard. The “Reply” and “Quick Edit” links simply do nothing and clicking the “Edit” link loads a dashboard page with the words “invalid comment ID” at the top.
Thoughts, anyone?
Anyone? This plugin isn’t working properly.
