In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Polly only for logged in members?I’ve come up with a solution – just point members to a members only version of the blog with the full text and Polly – that will work. Everyone else just gets a teaser.

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Download montior not protecting downloadsSo actually this is not resolved. I’m still having trouble.
I’m using WishList Member and Download Monitor.
Files I’ve been uploading via Download Monitor haven’t been protected.
I thought it might be WishList Member but here’s what they say…____________________________________________
Hi there Matt,Just to explain, our file/folder protection relies on the code added through .htaccess located in either
wp-content/uploads (for file protection)
or
/wp-content/uploads/membercontent/ (for folder protection)
I checked the download URL of your files and it seems the location is under /downloads
https://www.neuropsychotherapist.com/download/36092/
this means that the way you uploaded and protected your files are not supported by WishList Member.
As mentioned above, we can only protect files through our feature named File or File Protection.
I tried adding a sample .txt file to test the file protection. I uploaded this file
https://www.neuropsychotherapist.com/samplefile/
through your WordPress >> Media and the file is being protected just fine.
I would suggest you reupload the files you wanted to be protected and use either our file or folder protection to protect them.
Let us know if you have questions.
_____________________________________________I did explain that the actual address of the Download Monitor files was /wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/2018/06/File.pdf and NOT simply /download (although that’s what the Download Monitor displays when clicking on a shortcode link).
I’ve over 250 files and I don’t want to have to change all those files to a new location and get rid of the Download Monitor shortcode links if at all possible.
Help?
Matt

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Download montior not protecting downloadsThanks Harish – I think the problem maybe Wishlist member not Download monitor.
I am getting the same “Payment processing failed. Please retry.” error from Cart to Stripe payment. It’s difficult to know what has changed apart from plugin updates to cause the error. the PayPal gateway still works so it has to be the Stripe gateway only.
I’m not a developer and don’t have the same coding savvy as dcumpton above.
Looking for an obvious answer.
