I’ve followed all the steps on that post and checked the email address and everything is set-up correctly as far as I’m aware but I still get the same message. I’m using the email -info@filminaction.org, which is also associated with Bluehost. I tried changing that email address to a personal email address but still got the same red box and message. Do you have any other suggestions other than scrapping the contact forms and starting again? Thanks for your help.

I am also with Bluehost and am getting the same orange box every time an inquiry is submitted to the site on the contact us page here – http://www.filminaction.org/contact-us/
Do you think it’s the same problem? It was working fine until a week ago and suddenly I cannot receive any inquiries. I’m not a coder so would not know how to remake the contact forms but I’m running out of ideas on how to fix the problem. I contacted Bluehost but they weren’t that helpful.

Thanks again. I set-up the SMTP plug-in and i can send a test email. However, this has no effect on the contact forms on my website – http://www.filminaction.org/contact-us/
If you try to send an inquiry or make an application it still comes up with a ‘failed to send, contact administrator’ message. Do you have any advice for this problem? Thanks

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I’m sorry but i’m not really a web person and have only a basic knowledge of WordPress so I couldn’t find the logs you mentioned.
I uploaded the WP Mail SMTP plug-in as you suggested, as far as i can see it has options to configure where I send emails from but I’m a bit confused as to how that effects other people outside of the site sending inquiries through the contact form? Thanks in advance for your help
