My site is hosted through a service called Expressions at my university. Expressions uses WordPress version 4.9.6

Thanks for the quick response! I am using the “Twenty Seventeen” theme, version 2.1. The only other plugin I am using is Collapse-O-Matic (the site is quite small, and I’ve only recently started it). Deactivating the Collapse-O-Matic plugin or removing my content that depends on Collapse-O-Matic does not resolve the issue.
My PHP version is 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.11
