Resolved:
When setting an image to a custom position, X axis must be set to 50% instead of pixels.
That worked flawlessly, thank you so much! I ought to learn PHP myself 🙂
For future reference, if any PHP beginners are scrolling through the thread, the above mentioned snippet allows both letters and numbers, just remove “0-9” from preg_match if you wish to allow ONLY letters
