Never mind. I figured out what the wizard is. I don’t use it because I’m using Divi.
What is the Photoni wizard? I don’t see anything that says wizard in any of the plugin settings.
The website is built using Divi. I put the shortcode in a text module and it somehow added a <span> and </span> to it. I removed them and it now works the way I want it to. Thanks. Sometimes all that’s required is another set of eyes to look at something.

I do exactly what you are looking for using Easy Podcast Pro (https://easypodcastpro.com/) You need the Pro version that has a “Feed Import Tool” that will import podcast episodes into WordPress posts. The price isn’t bad. $39.99 yearly or $59.95 for a lifetime license. I opted for the lifetime. Good luck.
