I still can’t get this to work. Can’t get my FTP to work, and also I don’t have access the host site. I am only helping out.
Isn’t there any other way of fixing this?
I understand how playing around with the functions.php can make the site blank, but how on earth does it limit me from accessing my dash board?
I am so screwed!

No, I am just helping out a friend, and I am not using FTP nor do I have a backup. It wouldn’t be the end of the world to loose it, there is almost nothing there yet. But how do I get around it?
