So it is not a problem with my WP? Im trying to narrow down the issue.
When in default theme I don´t get the plugins available in the plugin section. Only when Alaska is activated do I get the option to install them, in a message that reads:
This theme requires the following plugin: Alaska Core.
This theme recommends the following plugins: Revolution Slider, Visual Composer Plugin and oAuth Twitter Feed.
The following recommended plugins are currently inactive: Contact Form 7 and WP Retina 2x.
