In reply to: [Preference Lite] Sub-menu border??Mmmkay, this is a bit strange. I cleared the cache on my phone again, and went to my website. The menu button is still blue, but the text on the button is pink.

In reply to: [Preference Lite] Sub-menu border??Ok, opened /www/wp-content/themes/preference-lite-child and opened style.css. I added code you gave me, and then changed each of the background-color numbers. Saved and uploaded it and seems to be exactly the same. So I got desperate and changed every color in the code above… still didn’t change anything. I have a feeling that whatever I’m doing wrong is something incredibly simple and stupid! haha

In reply to: [Preference Lite] Sub-menu border??Pulling my hair out… I feel like such a newb! Maybe I have the menu css in the wrong place. Do I add this in the child directory in the style.css, or do I put a copy of the menu.css into my child directory?
First I tried copying the css folder from the original theme into my child directory, then change colors in the menu.css. That didn’t do anything, so I took that folder back out, and tried adding the code you just gave me to the style.css in my child theme under “Add your menu.css changes here”
that didn’t work either, so deleted that.
I would just leave it and say forget it, but that blue button doesn’t go with my pink and green colors lol.
I was going to use colorzilla.com to make it gradient, but at the moment I’d be happy just to have this pink color #d6194fThank you so much for your help! I really love this theme and how easy it is to use.

I opened menu.css for my child theme, but css is still confusing to me. Where do I find the section that changes mobile menu colors?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! It worked perfectly! Now I’m just working on changing the colors back to what they were before I installed the child theme. I’m sure I’ll be back later with more questions, but this helped me get started in the right direction.
