You have to deactivate the current version of the plug-in, then delete all the files. You can download the previous version from the link above and install it as a new installation. This is not advice from the plug-in developer – just what worked for me to get by. Thanks.
I ended up reverting back to version http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/events-manager.5.1.5.zip – at first I didn’t think it worked, but if you start to type in the date area, a drop down calendar shows up. This did not work for me on versions 5.1.6 or 5.1.7. I am able to use the same theme and plug-ins as I have all along. Hope this may help bkemp.
Hello,
Thanks for the replies. I have attempted to revert back to the previous 2 versions, but still don’t have the date picker. I also removed the one plug-in that was added recently (wp customer reviews), but that didn’t help either. There is 1 “uncaught exception: Invalid argument” error in the browser console.
Debug showed the following error: “Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /home/mydomain/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php:3553) in /home/mydomain/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/classes/em-notices.php on line 11
If we were to upgrade to the paid version, would it be possible to get direct support on this? We like the plug-in and would like to keep using it. We’d be willing to pay for your time.
Please advise… thank you.
