In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Guest Authors on MultisiteMy blog, http://mgx.com/ has been happily using co-authors plugin for sometime and I recently converted the blog to multisite. Some less technically savvy writers have me input their articles on their behalf and I have always used the plug in to use their byline. On the dashboard this all works fine and the other writer is shown as the post author, but for some reason on the front end, I am listed as the author instead. Perhaps this should be a separate topic, but is there any suggestions?

In reply to: mysql database server going down at hostIt does seem quite odd that multiple people are experiencing the same or similar problems.
However, this is not the first time mysql server connections with the blog have failed, just never this catastrophically and by demanding a new install…
Further, I use the index.php to direct to a subdirectory – even that connection appears to be lost instead trying to call the blog in the root directory

In reply to: mysql database server going down at hostThank you, I am not the member who thought they were hacked. The host has conceded that the problem lies with them I am just confused that other users, using different hosts appear to be having identical problems… for example, visitors were thrown to a install new blog page.
So, while the host agrees that the database has corrupted through some internal problem, why are other users with separate hosts experiencing this same problem?
My blog has been functional for several years now and I have successfully upgraded periodically to the latest versions. Presently I am using 2.6 (upgraded two weeks ago) and it was working well until this morning.

In reply to: WordPress 2.5 hacked – need help to stop hacker from returningThis must be a trend or something because my blog has just started doing this today also. I posted a separate question about it earlier. My host is godaddy and I have had problems with the sql before but never this bad. What can be corrupting these tables?
