Mastodon repo already have suggestion in issues about WebIntents: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/33984 but it has too few upvotes in my opinion.

It seems I got confused when seen “Follow” Web Intent example and soon Follow button at Mastodon profile.
I started the process of following at https://mastodon.social/@webintents and specified may WordPress instance url to follow.
