In reply to: [WP BrowserUpdate] Not working on iPhone 4/5s SafariWhen have you tried the plugin? Apparently the website that provides the script is (temporarily?) down. Nothing I can do about because I’m not affiliated with them.Forget about the above. It’s back in operation. Will look into this issue but can’t promise a solution.
They used to offer a notification for mobile browsers but removed this option a while ago.

In reply to: [WP BrowserUpdate] Can i apply only for Internet Explorer?Conditional comments are the recommended way forward if you want to target MSIE specifically.
Have a look at the plugin repository. Maybe someone created the solution to your issue already.

In reply to: [WP BrowserUpdate] Can i apply only for Internet Explorer?Correct. This isn’t the plugin that solves your issue.

In reply to: [WP BrowserUpdate] Can i apply only for Internet Explorer?Sure it is – just not with this plugin. It was designed to notify about outdated browsers.
Search for conditional comments and modal popups. This combination implemented into your website should solve your issue.

In reply to: [WP BrowserUpdate] Notification showed only onceGood question. 😉 Will have a look…

In reply to: [WP BrowserUpdate] Notification showed only onceThis is due to the fact that the guys behind browser-update.org merged Internet Explorer and Edge versions. If you go for the low version numbers, Edge will be excluded, while picking a higher number will also include IE.
Was thinking to split them into parts, but decided to leave it be because IE is considered outdated anyway (with Edge as the successor).
