I actually think I fixed it.
I put the SECRET_KEY in wp-config.php and also changed my Admin password.
Haven’t had any spam in a few days!! :o)
I hope it stays that way.. If not.. I’ll come back here looking for you.

Reason for my upgrade was exactly what’s being discussed here… Spam links in the source code of posts.
They were on individual posts and thank goodness on less than 20 posts, which I still had to manually edit.
One post had 3,075 links… Can you believe this????????? (no, I did not count.. lol… I pasted the links into NotePad2 which numbers each line)
I freaking had a MAJOR heart attack when I saw those links in the source, but a bit of relief when I saw that it was nowhere on the actual page/post and did not show on Feeds (I have tons of subscribers for my Feeds).
Anyway… Upgraded WP just a few hours ago and now I’m crossing my fingers as I haven’t given enough time to see if the problem is solved.
Just hope that spammers won’t find any new flaws on 2.6.1 in case it was fixed.

In reply to: WP-dTree 3.1 not working on IEWP-dTree 3.4.1 is not working on IE. I just upgraded to WordPress 2.6.1. The same script error happened with previous versions of WP so I disabled WP-dTree and thought that I needed to update WordPress for it to work, but I get the same thing now.
It pops up a little window saying:
Stop running this script?
A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may be unresponsive.If you click YES, then does not work and you get “open all | close all undefined”.
If you click NO, then WP-dTree works just fine.
What to do??
On Firefox it works beautifully (of course… HATE IE).
On another note… when viewing the Source Code of my Blog, why does WP-dTree put a the ENTIRE LIST of the Archive in there?

Geeeez!!!! How on earth am I going to KNOW if maybe WP has the same or similar features, if I don’t ask???A simple answer could have been:
“No Alex, WP does not have a feature like Blogger does”
or..
“Alex, you can’t do this on WP but there’s a workaround like this that maybe will work for you.”Instead, you wrote things like:
“Wrong approach.”
“Learn the WP way to do things!”
“Don’t go against WordPress”Geeeez… what wrong side of the “computer” did you wake up on today????????
And then your responses to some of my questions were so short that I couldn’t understand a darn thing.

And FYI.. Yes you CAN use HTML in “Blog to Email”, I even sent posts with images and it came through just fine. I just can’t make the CSS force the font to be the same in all posts when they come from an email.

And another FYI for you… There IS a “WordPress MU version” that seems to allow several Blogs but I didn’t want to have to do a new install all over again so I thought that someone could help me find another way.
