In reply to: Problems with username and hostSUPERHOSTING.BG in Bulgaria…
Some web hosting companies allow their clients to use special characters & Greek letters to make up usernames and passwords. Others don’t.
Your database name and username may not be correct. They usually start with hosting account name followed by an underscore.

In reply to: Incorrect password – key not validIf you use Mac OS, you can remove accounts by using Keychain Access. I don’t know how you can do it under Windows OS.

In reply to: Upgrading brought a blank pageAs samboll says, I suspect the same. I recommend people to upload the zip version of WP and decompress it with File Manager. In this way, you won’t miss a single file.

In reply to: How to prevent copying/saving of images from site? The only possible way of doing it is to use Flash (.flv + .swf), QuickTime (.mov) or others to separate self-contained (source) files from reference ones. In this way, you can hide the locations of source files. I wouldn’t do it because that’s time consuming. We post 3 to 4 articles daily and each of them comes with a dozen screenshots to back up stories. It is also true that you can never successfully hide the locations of source files. That’s because reference files must contain information on the locations of the source files.
Good luck,
Tom Bluewater from MHVT.NET

In reply to: WordPress Hacked and Redirected … AgainAll right. I decided to give you extended help in destroying the website at the domain of anyresults.net. I won’t mention what I did. I can tell you that the criminal organization behind that website made a crucial mistake. Hopefully, this website will disappear from the face of Earth within 2 weeks or so. What a dumb group of criminals…

In reply to: WordPress Hacked and Redirected … AgainWe have destroyed several dozen websites in the past year. So let me give you a few tips. I mentioned the name of isprime.com earlier. It’s a web hosting company, not a domain registrar or suspect’s network company (ISP). Babak may have made a right approach by contacting isprime.com only if his website has also been victimized and if visitors to his website are redirected to the website of anyresults.net. In other words, only the webmasters of the victimized websites should contact isprime.com and give the exact URLs where visitors are redirected to the website of anyresults.net.
Contacting the owner of the affiliate program usually does nothing. That’s because many of them only want money and want to hire as many idiots as possible.

In reply to: WordPress Hacked and Redirected … Again>the domain registrar just told me they would do nothing without a court order
Why are you contacting the domain registrar? Is there anything wrong with anyresults.net’s WhoIs info?

In reply to: WordPress Hacked and Redirected … AgainIn case anyone were interested, the website at anyresults.net is hosted by a web hosting company called ISPrime (www.isprime.com).

In reply to: Security questionYou are funny, MichaelH. But he is right.
In the meantime, you want to choose a web host carefully. Many websites hosted at the same companies (Spoono Host, PowWeb, 34SP.com…) are under repeated exploitation. No B.S.

In reply to: No date or time stamp at all! Please help(1) Date & time stamps
You may wait for several hours and then ask a guy named Google about ‘WordPress Simple Editing Techniques: Adding/Removing Date & Time Stamps.’ He will find you the simple tutorial just we have just written.
(2) I have not upgraded to the newest version so I don’t know if that has anything to do with my problem.
No. It all depends on your current theme. You want to edit your file(s) after upgrading your WP.

In reply to: N00bish transfer issueInstead of exporting and importing data through phpmyadmin, you may want to try exporting WP data with an export plug-in. It should go smoothly in this way. You will probably need to fix article order and also add blogroll links manually, I think.
Good luck

In reply to: Blog Disappeared after Attempt to Change HostsChanging hosts meaning you moved from whatever it was to BlueHost? If that’s the case, did you back up WP database at the old host and import it to BlueHost after creating a new MySQL account?
