I have v2.13.2 running on WP 3.6 that isn’t exhibiting issue – will run a step by step upgrade of plugins and WP to current versions and see if it materializes.

In reply to: [Testimonials Widget] Testimonials Stacking on First LoadBrowser cache cleared / latest plugin version / WP3.8 / PHP 5.3.4 / CACHE CLEARED
On every page load all testimonials render in a stack for approx 500ms before collapsing to the correct div height and displaying single entry as expected.
Which is a usability issue as far as I’m concerned.
Also seeing the behavior in OPs link.

In reply to: [GC Testimonials] Random testimonial for the widget?Any chance of this as a widget option in a future update. It’s a much needed an obvious omission and the above hackery won’t survive the plugin update process.
Problem with “Do not apply content filters” option is that it strips out all paragraph formatting!
Author – any advice on this issue? Woothemes Canvas is massively popular “framework” and this is a big problem for me with your otherwise top of the class plugin.
I will contact Woo support with this if I can get an idea of the root of the issue (otherwise they will just bounce me back to you).
Thanks.
“Do not apply content filters” option on widget settings resolves this. What does this option do?

In reply to: [Testimonials by WooThemes] Carousel Testimonialsanother plus one – widget functionality so basic pretty much renders the plugin useless.

Ruddy digital monopolies 😉
Thanks Jason – tried FF/IE – oh well, as not essential to trying your plugin so will carry on regardless.
Hi Mat – maybe I have it wrong. I have 2 post categories set up for testing with a post in each.
I am expecting it to work like the pages menu – ie on the blog index page a list of categories appears that I can use to navigate to category index pages. And on category index pages I am expecting the same (with the active category indicated).
This is not the case – nothing at all appears in the sidebar on blog or category index pages.
HOWEVER – if i check “Include Parent Even With No Children” the title of the widget appears on the category index page with no entries below it but not on the blog index.
Suspect I have the wrong expectations of the functionality here – but if it is not for navigating post categories on the archive and post pages what is it for?
Would be great to get some feedback from the Author on this issue in particular wouldn’t it. Hello?
Until something as fundamental as this is fixed any future releases or new features are icing on a chocolate teapot as far as I’m concerned.
