In reply to: What is the best GPL forum?those three pretty much cover the open source market share, from my experience. you can check sourceforge, if you want. i imagine that if you’re integrating, minibb and punbb will give you the greatest level of transparency.

In reply to: Yet Another Archive Listing QuestionOoh, I fixed it!
It would have helped if I had read chuckg’s code comments that he explicitly assumed that months from previous years would *not* be listed.
So I monkeyed with the code, kind of like giving a chimpanzee a shotgun, and got it working. Find this line of code:
if ($show_months && $currYear == $thisyear) {
and take out this part:
&& $currYear == $thisyear
so you get this:
if ($show_months) {
This will show months for all of the years in which you have posts. Demonstrated here: http://lutero.com/photolog/

In reply to: Yet Another Archive Listing QuestionI’m using chuckg’s get_archives_by_year hack, discussed in this post:

It’s working at 90%, just need to get previous years’ monthly archives to show up.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Grouping archives by yearChuck, I’ve tried limit values from 12 to 100, but the archives still only list months for the current year. Is there another setting I can try to change? This is exactly the hack I was looking for, assuming I can get all the months to show. Thanks.

Part of the problem, or mine at least, is hitting the right keywords in my queries. I’ll chalk it up to my unfamiliarity with all of the WP jargon (MT is slightly different, I guess).Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Monthly archive links incompleteMy permalink structure is
/%post_id%/%postname%/, so there are no date tags in there. Are there supported permalink configurations in the wiki or something that I could go by? I assumed incorrectly that they would all work.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: TaglineEDIT to my advice: You can leave out the
id="description"from that line. Styling h1 will take care of it by itself.
