Appreciate you taking time to help me on this. I had tried the delete transient mysql query and all the database cleanup style plugins to no avail.
It took a lot of digging but I think the problems solved 🙂 . Essentially clearing the woocommerce wc_sessions followed by running and optimise and repair on the table in myphpadmin otherwise the size did not reduce.

The resulting database is now 45 Mega Bytes and the site has returned to a 5 or 6 second load time from well over a minute.
That slow time drastically effected sales orders and it was only flagged up when hosting server WHM emailed me to warn of server CPU overload .

Ive been digging a bit more and it turns out the rows are all being generated by woocommerce cart wc-sessions.
These can be flushed in Woocommerce > Status > tools . So I did that which removed all the rows down to 1000 or so and the website is back to normal speed. However the table is still 1.1GB so I still need to flush out the old records and get it to a more manageable size
I also add a robots.txt file to stop the Google bots creating these
User-agent: *
Disallow: /*add-to-cart=*Just getting the table size down

In reply to: Site Crashs in Chromejust an update , this problem still persists in Chrome on mine and friends browsers ! I tried caching plugins but no Joy and I’ve just updated to the latest java for chrome.
thanks for the browserstack link were it also crashed simulating chrome when you flick from the different project gallerys after 30 seconds or so
ok in other browsers ive posted the issue on Google Chrome and nextgen forums. If i get no answers ill roll back to an early backup .
Ill post back when a solution is found . Meantime if anyone has suggestions please post

when i go on portfolio pages and flick through images . Chrome freezes in a around a minute k=like this page

In reply to: Site Crashs in Chromei can access the page aswell but it freezes Chrome after 20seconds or so when you click on the 1st image and go to skip through the images ! does that happen at your side ? Also happening on friends computers .

Were taking no chances , the main user machine has been wiped and Eset security added . Switched to my own hosting as I recently started to offer re-seller hosting and uploading the theme fresh together with all content or could we export all posts from the old one and re-import them to save time? And re-import the database tables to the new database.
Clean start on the passwords to.
Its all a major pain in the butt :/

In reply to: Site hacked Mailware – HelpAll the links above look like to much hassle! Opted for a total rebuild from scratch . Think it will be quicker than trying to fix it as the security is compromised and its hard to track exactly where.
We have all the raw content handy so hopefully wont take to long
