In reply to: Maximum file size for upload: 2 MB.Thanks rhercules,
i tried making a php.ini file with the needed code specifying 20mbs in it but it didn’t work, still only allowed 2mb. I didn’t restart anything, I have no button for that in my cpanel anywhere. Im on a mac. Any other help?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Maximum file size for upload: 2 MB.Hi, Im wondering if you can me too or do I start a new topic? Any how here is my current issue with trying to upload a larger than 2mb template to WP.
I think there is a .thaccess file in my WP admin folder in file manager of cpanel that I created on my first attempt but then couldn’t access it to put code in it and hence it is empty.
On my next attempt to make an htaccess file I made it as a text file on my computer without the dot because that wasn’t allowed, put code in it, then uploaded it to WP admin but the existence of the empty one made the file manager refuse to allow the renaming of the htaccess file to include the dot in front because it said there already was one. Thats where I’m at now, any ideas, advice and help would be really really appreciated.
