Luckily, all I had to do was deactivate the problem plugin and reactivate it and problem solved. Fingers crossed.

In reply to: [Oxygen] Menus broken on mobileYes, looks like we encountered a similar problem/effect on the Oxygen theme.

In reply to: [Oxygen] Menus broken on mobileDeactivating NextGEN Gallery seems to have fixed the issue. (We had only previously tried deactivating plugins involved in that fateful update, as well as a few other obvious suspects.)
Thanks much for the encouragement to experiment with deactivating every plugin until we found the culprit.

In reply to: [Oxygen] Menus broken on mobileThanks, paulwpxp, but I tested from multiple browsers on multiple devices and also had others test from their own devices. We also made a point of clearing browser cache and retesting if/where we had recently loaded the site.

In reply to: [Oxygen] Menus broken on mobileI tried switching to another theme, deleting Oxygen, and then downloading/reinstalling/reactivating it. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem.
I’d like to try deactivating the mobile Oxygen theme component altogether.
Apparently in the .com version of the Oxygen theme, an Appearance -> Mobile option appears and it’s as simple as changing a setting. However, no such option appears on the .org version. Is there another way to accomplish this?
Thank you!

In reply to: [Oxygen] Menus broken on mobileOkay, but do think that re-installing the new theme will disrupt the other plugins? I have two major database plugins i’m concerned about.

In reply to: [Oxygen] Menus broken on mobileOn a different note, I do have two more questions:
1. How do I get the RSS icon removed from the URL bar.
2. Where/how do I install my ico icon?Thank YOU!

In reply to: [Oxygen] Menus broken on mobileHi,
Yes, that would be the obvious thing to do but…
I did update two plugins yesterday at the same time that my host server crashed: a)Akismet b)FLA Gallery.
It seems unlikely that these two very common plugins are causing the problems. It seems more likely that some code was corrupted.
What do you think?
