Thanks James – this did not change the color setting for the header, is there another way to make this work? I think the #333 is spot on and would make a big difference in lessening the contrast.
My issue was placing one individual text block to adjust wide width – regardless of the set page template. Most suggestions seem to direct towards setting an entire page template, but you may need individual block control like I did.
I found a solution with the Getwid block plugin: Advanced header. This was the only plugin with a header option that allowed for wide-width functionality.
