In reply to: [Get Directions Map] Get Directions not showingHello, sorry I didn’t see your post earlier. As it was in the wrong forum and didn’t seem to get notified.
I haven’t come across this issue before. Is it working now, there have been several releases since.
Are you using a PC, Mac or Linux?
Where physically in the world are you?
Yep, had same issue in 3.6 multisite. Had to clear browser cache to get the settings link javascript to work.
As above, would be better of with a more standard ‘stetting’ page from main menu. More likely to stand the time of new WordPress versions.
Another thought.
Do you think it is worth putting in a short sleep() on a failed user login, and a longer sleep() on a ‘blocked’ user attempt, to slow down any synchronous bots – or are all bots asynchronous ?
That is a good idea.
I also have created a second .conf just for admin attacks, this way I can set an immediate ban on first attempt and ban the IP for a week, whilst the rest multiple attempts and a more reasonable ban time.
I put the .conf an jail.local setting here http://badlywired.com/technical-stuff/2013/08/15/using-fail2ban-to-stop-wordpress-attacks-on-administrator/
Feel free to add it to your zip files or whatever.
Best regards.

In reply to: [Get Directions Map] Get Directions need better directionsJust want to add. The software has been updated so you no longer need to get your own MapQuest API key

In reply to: [Get Directions Map] Get Directions need better directionsI have now created a MapQuest API AppKey video tutorial to cover the subject you were having difficulty with.

In reply to: [Get Directions Map] Get Directions need better directionsThank you for pointing out the difficulty you are having with the instructions.
I will look to further documenting getting the key from Map Quest.
It is indeed AppKey, when you log into the MapQuest site and click on teh menu item APi’s select Open APIs and there is a large green button with ‘Manage AppKeys’
There then is a geen button ‘Create AppKey’.
You can put anything you like in the next form and hit create. It is a bit of a faff – but thats the way Map Quest has done it.
p.s. it would have been nice if you had posted on the support forum first if you had questions rather than jumping in with a massively negative review

In reply to: [Get Directions Map] PLease implements multiple map markersThanks for your feedback.
There is already a good mapquest plugin with multiple markers
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mapquest-map-builder/, but of course that doesn’t have directons.Would you be wanting multi-markers with directions?
