I experienced the same issue and the change that helped was to disable “Click Tracking” in the Mailgun settings.

password creation/editing on my account page and on checkout page do not follow the set rules.
I would love to use this plugin, but cannot at the moment.
Just ran into this myself.
For a quick fix to get the meter to display in your theme go into your ./wp-content/plugins/pretty-simple-progress-meter/css/psp_styles.php and copy that css into your theme css file. Replace the php variables with appropriate content and you’re good to go. Kind of messy, but works 🙂
