In reply to: [Promotion Slider] Slider hides drop down menuThanks Web2Guru, but that didn’t work earlier (indeed i missed the 1 after 10).
Please, does anybody know what z-index would push back the slider so that it doesn’t hide drop down menu?

In reply to: [Promotion Slider] Slider hides drop down menuHi mloga94, You better start new topics, and preferably in the right forum: http://wordpress.org/support/theme/simple-catch (that’s what i’ve been said when i unintentionally included a new topic in a started thread). Anyway, i guess you can solve it by deactivating and eventually deleting the plugin causing trouble from Network Admin.
If you have no Network Admin or no access to it, delete it through your host’s cpanel. That’ll at least allow you to access admin again 🙂Back to my question: Please, does anybody know what z-index would push back the slider so that it doesn’t hide drop down menu?

In reply to: [Promotion Slider] Slider hides drop down menuHi Micah, thanks.
I’m a beginner, so i only understood that’s the solution… But i still don’t know what to do.
Could you please say what code i should paste?
There’s a custom code section to do so in Pagelines Platform theme i’m using –where i guess i should do it?
You may find the page’s code on Pastebin and a firebug screenshot on Picpaste in case that can help.

In reply to: [Promotion Slider] Slider hides drop down menuHi guys,
It seems i’m having the same problem: slider covers drop down menu after update.
But i took a look at drandle1’s blog and it seems you solved it, right?
Would you please be so kind to let me know how i can solve it too?
I guess i should add something looking like this?
.identifiant{ position:relative; z-index:10; }But what exactly? I’m a beginner.

Hi again,
I added the line
define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', false);in wp-config.php just before
/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */But nothing changed.
Any other suggestions?
Hi jumbo, thanks for your help!
I just opened wp-config.php and there isn’t even a line talking about the constant you mention.
So i guess i should add somethink like this:
define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', false);Do you know where exactly in such a case?

In reply to: What are access.log.03.gz files?Hi dotnordic, thanks for your kind help! (I’m now waiting for a reply from the webhost).
Just before closing this topic, do you maybe know if files below are not related either to WordPress? They are all contained in the same logs folder:
.htaccess ftp.log ftp.log.04.gz info.php info.php5 mail.log mail.log.03... 10.gz sftp.log sftp.log.04.gz... sftp.log.10.gz traffic.db last_trafficAnd a subfolder named traffic.html containing these:
.htaccess .md5sums 01.html...12.html, index.html index.htmlForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP-DBManager] Completely delete the WP-DBManagerHi mbrsolution, thanks for your answer.
Don’t know how or why but i can use again clean options plugin today (error persists in one blog but i guess i’ll just have to try again later).
I’ll give a try to the plugin you recommend to see how it works.
Thanks again!
Ok, thanks for your time and kind help David, i’ll keep working on it all!
Ok, thanks, just to make sure and hopefully close this topic:
