Ok, i hear what your saying but the discrepancy is significant.

In reply to: Left hand coulmn showing settings,plugins,etc not showingi switched to the Twenty Eleven theme but still was unable to fix my issue.
I was able to enter the /plugins.php which brought up the plugins page,where i started deactivating the plugins + found the plugin causing the issue.
I now have the left hand Menu working.
