I also have been getting this. This seems to happen less frequently since the update i find, and when it does happen, hitting the browser’s back button, and trying again, and again, and again in some cases will force it to work. Pretty annoying though, wish there was a fix.
well, i dunno guys, not much answers around here, i thought for sure yoast would have been lurking around. In the meantime i have moved the code using the plugin from the footer to the header and i started seeing stats again. Also, other plugins seem to work, and those developers answer problems and try to help… so there is that option.
