We were able to reproduce this issue using Elementor’s Media Carousel widget, and we’re using Elementor’s Lightbox feature in our widgets, so we recommend contacting Elementor’s Support to have a look at this.

Unfortunately, this option is available only for the infinite horizontal carousel.
In the vertical carousel, the infinite animation restarts again after the last item leaves the container, That’s the reason you see the space, you can duplicate the items in your vertical carousel to elongate the animation duration, it’ll delay the showing of the space you mentioned.
