In reply to: [Lodestar] Header Image Won’t UpdateCorrect – it doesn’t change in the customizer preview. I have tried saving it and viewing the site directly, yes. There is still no change. I just tried clearing the cache and that had no effect. I’ve been unable to see the change for several weeks now. This is not a featured image. This is the actual header and the page I’m trying to change is the home page, which doesn’t have a featured image.

In reply to: Updates not going through to live site.Okay I did clear the cache. As far as the file names, I had a previously uploaded header photo already in the theme customization tool, so I just selected that.

I am told usually it needs to FTP to the main public_html or similar directory. I just don’t even understand where to find this directory or how to upload anything to it.

In case it still matters, no, I have never run across this problem before.

I’m not using a plug-in, just the Lodestar theme out of the box.
I have verified that the directory does exist in the site files.
