I guess I just don’t understand the relationship between WordPress widgets and Adsense. Not really sure what Adsense does.
Sorry, It looks like I fixed it by uninstalling wordpress and reinstalling with “blog” in the directory field. Thank you for putting up with a newbie nontechnical.
