I did try this type of edit previously and it didn’t work.Just tried again into child CSS and no change to the look?
Where is the grey background coming from?Sorry – really struggling with this theme. Might have to change if can’t get this sorted soon.

thanks for looking into it. I had put the code you gave me above into a child CSS file. I looked for the code in the parent CSS file and could not find a section on customer-header.
For the header it had this
/* Header */
.header {margin: 0 auto;padding:25px 0px;border-top:3px solid rgba(0,0,0,.2); }
.header a {position:relative;z-index:99;}
#logo-image {float:left;margin-right:20px;margin-left:10px;}So I have added your code now into parent file (removed from child) and still seems no better?
Apologies if I am missing something obvious but still struggling with this.

In reply to: [evolve] Header Resizes on Desktop and Mobilemany thanks for your help – this has sorted out the issue of the bottom being cropped off but now I have excess background behind the header in a greyish colour with vertical lines. I want the background to be all white but with the jpeg acting as a background I am unsure how to do this.
