I finally fixed it – it wasn’t a theme issue, it was a system font issue because even the mono “code” font below this very entry box was rendering incorrectly.

Nevermind, I used a new comparison plugin and everything works fine now

I can now get the image comparisons to load, but until they are clicked, they are only about a half an inch tall, even if i surround them with a div with a specified height…any ideas?
