There are 2 steps to restore site.
1. delete plugin directory

And yes, if you do not know what your doing you should not use this plugin.
This plugin is for advanced users.And there is not need to restore site from backup if something goes wrong.
In this case go to FAQ section and do two simple steps to revert changes made by this plugin.And yes, there is warning on plugin description page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-wp/
