Selecting “Display full post” in the customizer fixes it in the live preview, but then you save it and it doesn’t reflect that on the site. There is no link for ‘Read more … ‘

In reply to: [Easy Google Fonts] CSS SelectorsIt’s working perfectly as expected with different theme, but didn’t with the previous one (Sparkling). Not sure why not (maybe I should try again and use the override function?) I’ll stick with this them now that is working well, I think.

My problem is resolved. Using FTP to reset the permissions didn’t work, but going in via my host’s control panel and doing them on there did.
I’m having the same problem with self-hosted and 4.1
I’ve just done a fresh manual install with a new database and no plugins are running.
If I go to Settings -> Media, I don’t see any options at all to change the path. Only to untick storing by year month
If I go to wp-admin/options.php then upload_path and upload_url_path is blank.
I had this problem last night and CHMOD to 777 on wp-content made no difference. Should I try that again, and what should I put in upload_path and upload_url_path?
