Incidentally I’m also running wp-cache and the popularity contest plugin, but I did try disabling wp-cache and it made no difference, so I’m not quite sure where the problem lies. Still, it’s all solved now. Phew 🙂

In reply to: Page doesn’t work until refreshedJust for people with a similar problem, this turned out to be a plugin issue. The plugin needed external data which wasn’t there on the first attempt, but it then cached new information so the refresh worked.
