I managed to resolve it by excluding contact form 7 plugin from the Async JavaScript plugin.

Thanks for the support.
It works for desktop screen sizes but not for tablets and mobiles.
In particular, when the screen size decreases it crops the post image vertically and removes any margin between. So it is really to navigate.
The previous theme version was resizing the post image and keeping the margin between, so the navigation was smooth.
I have applied the fix in the staging site, so you can have a look from a mobile device:
