1. Use the Read More tag instead of the excerpt feature
You can hide the excerpt feature by the following: Go to the admin page. Go Appearance-> Customize-> Theme Options-> Post archive.
In “Excerpt words limit for blog”, setting a value of 0.
2. Use the first photo on the post instead of featured image
You can do the following: Go to the admin page, remove featured image if existing, and set the first photo on post is the featured image.Regards,
