I had the same issue. When trying to verify, Proceed starts looping and does not go forward. Tried @reneesoffice #2 steps and my answer there was “Not Available”.
Console says about it:

I have Customify Pro
Edit the Home page -> customify settings -> page header -> select cover and add the slider shortcode in the box
For the body -> customify settings -> layout -> sidebar (pick your choice)

Didn’t occur to me there was an option to revert to older version and I’m glad you let me know this was available.
