In reply to: My new blogTo make your blog’s layout as same as your main website, you have to edit the theme to be a wordpress theme.
I would hire some coder if you can’t edit yourself.

The layout is also fine, but the permalink should be changed to be more friendly for SEO.

In reply to: How to remove the word “share” in postNot really sure how to figure it out, since i don’t know the page source. It will probably be helpful if you provide your site’s link so i can see the page source.
However, you can try to check single.php file and copy all the code in a notepad, then find “share” and delete it.
Or if you have social plugins, deactivate it.
//Don’t forget to back up your theme before you edit anything.

In reply to: Google search results not showing decriptionHi ruthstokes
Google XML generator is a plugin. But the files, sitemap.xml is a file that helps search engines to index your site’s content.
If you already installed the Google XML Generator plugin, and activate it, then this file will usually be in http://www.ruthstokes.com/sitemap.xml
You don’t need to create the file yourself, once this plugin is activated, the sitemap.xml file will be automatically generated by the plugin.
Here is an example sitemap.xml after you activate Google XML generator plugin.

In reply to: Google search results not showing decriptionI notice you don’t have sitemap.xml, i would use All in SEO pack and Google Xml generator plugins, these two plugins are important and very useful.
You can submit sitemap.xml to webmaster too, it will help google to index your contents.
