If I cannot get to WP without a server error message, should I uninstall WP and then reinstall it?

Yes- I’m trying to remove the comment section and add a grid of six images – all the same size. Also, I’ve placed the logo using a widget. The container is not wide enough to show the whole logo and when I check in Firebug, I can see where it is, but I cannot find out how to change it in WP. Also- I cannot find the class or the div in the CSS.
