In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Failed to send your message (Red border)the original one was bump@sws-steel.com
The second is patty.johnson@smesteel.comBoth of those domains are hosted through Bluehost, however the email isn’t through Bluehost. Their IT guy has it set up some other way.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Failed to send your message (Red border)When I use one of my client’s email addresses in the “To” block, I get the red box that says:
Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method. When I change it to any of my email addresses (one is gmail, the other a personal domain), it works fine, and I get a green box that says: Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.
And the email comes through.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Failed to send your message (Red border)As a test, I created a new form. I used purely default settings, except under the “Mail” tab, in the “To” box I put in my personal email address. It worked fine. Then I tried two more personal email addresses, and they also worked fine. I then tried multiple emails addresses for my client (several different URLs). None of them worked, so the issue seems to be with the email hosting of my client (NOT Bluehost…). I can email their IT guy, but I have no clue how to explain this to him, other than “your email hosting is blocking form-generated email produced by WordPress.” It’s hard to ask for help when I don’t know how to explain it (and don’t want him getting into the WordPress site and potentially messing things up).
