In reply to: No new pages or imagesOK, I figured it out, what was confusing me was that the uploads folder was showing up when I looked at the directories with filezilla. I found the directory with the file manager and set the appropriate permissions (and set all the other ones back). It works now. Thanks for the help.

In reply to: No new pages or imagesOn more thing. I can FTP the images into a folder and then point the code to the url for the image and that works fine but it’s just a pain in the tookus.

In reply to: No new pages or imagesI set everything I could to RWX to no avail then I noticed that there is no “uploads” folder in the wp-content folder when I look a the site with filezilla. I tried adding that folder (plus /2010/09 folders) but that didn’t work.

In reply to: No new pages or imagesthrough FTP OR Control Panel
I see the permissions: They all say “rwx r-x r-x”
I’m assuming I go to the httpdoc folder and check all the read, write, executable boxes?
BTW, changing the permalinks back to default has fixed the pages issue.

In reply to: Can’t log inThanks for all the support and help in resolving this issue. Can you smell the sarcasm? I never received an email with a new password. I clicked the forgot password link three different times and each time I got the first email with the link to click but never the second email with the new password. There is no way to contact support – other than through these forums which obviously doesn’t accomplish anything. So what gives? Is a guy just supposed to languish in cyberhell with an effed up site?
Luckily, my computer at home kept me logged in and I could reset the PW that way. If not I would be pretty pissed right now.

You Rock!
Btw, I like your cat. I have a cat that does tricks. She’s a Russian Blue that will roll over, give a high five and give a doll CPR all on command.
Thanks again.

Can you hook a brother up with a little padding on the right side of the RSS feeds widget boxes (in IE)? The text runs right up against the right side of the border boxes.
I don’t know how to show my appreciation for all your help, except that I noticed that you might be in Portland in September for a WordCamp. I don’t live in Portland anymore but my gift to you is that you should go to the Knob Hill bar in NW Portland and try a Knobby Burger or If you like Mexican food you should see if Acapulco Gold’s is still in existence (also in NW Portland).

One more thing and I think I will completely satisfied with the look of the site. Can we get a little padding between the search window and the border box?
Hey?!?! I’ve been looking at the site in Firefox and I just checked it out in IE and the text in the RRS feeds widgets is running outside the border boxes. I tried changing some “widths” in the stylesheet but that just jacked it up. Can yu help me out?

In reply to: Editing dynamic sidebar part IIOk, the quote box looks nice. Thanks.
What I meant with the search box (the border box like the box that is around all the other widgets, not the box that you type the search in) is that there is a bigger gap between it and the header image than there is between the header image and the “Greetings” box on the right. I would like the gaps to be the same
