I had this issue and it was caused by having selected show feature image but had no imaged assigned to businesses.

In reply to: Making a template site to cloneFound my own solution. I made it work with using ../ before the page.
Also found the MultiSite Clone Duplicator plugin that worked much better then the other export/import tool. This one changed all the manual links.
Sorry for the delay I was stuck in a meeting.
I still had the sub plugins like tiles, widges, RO13 turned off on the site. Just turned everything back on and it seems to be working.

OK I just have the main connections plugin turned on.

In side the district page is many child pages in the side menu. With connections turned on any of those links in the side menu pops us back out to the homepage.
Let me know if you want me to turn on the plugin for testing.

That was the key info. I found what I needed under my theme post settings.

I had no change after I enabled that setting.
Update: I found how to add a group in the menu system which gives me the URL for a certain group but when I go to that URL there are no employees showing. That same group shows 3 employees under the Group Settings.
