    Oh wait, I hit a snag…I found how to make the home page static, but it won’t let me actually select “home” as my front page. Any way around that?

    Okay. Would it be too much trouble to tell what code to edit? I went to the header.php, thinking I would just change the link, but it doesn’t show the menu code on that page. I am kinda new at this so please forgive my ignorance!

    It also occurred to me that maybe you meant to put the .hide {display:none;} on the actual header sheet. I did that and it’s gone! 🙂 But now I see that code, lol. So now what?

    Well, we are getting there! 🙂 The font is smaller and now black. I made the changes in the header sheet and then added .hide {display:none;} to the style.css sheet. Take a look now and thank you SO much!

    Crondeau, I almost posted the header code, too! 🙂 I knew I should have! I am pasting it below! Thank you SO MUCH!

    Shane, if you just delete it in the general settings, you actually remove the title of your page and it makes it harder for people searching to find your site. Also, and this is just the OCD in me coming out I guess, your name doesn’t show at the top of the tab or your browser or when someone bookmarks you. I just can’t have that! lol

    Hi! Thanks for the reply…and the compliment. I have really been working hard.

    Okay, I can’t find that line in they style or header sheet – even after putting it into notepad and doing a search. I can’t find <h3> at all. So I am just going to put in everything I do have for the style sheet! 🙂 Maybe that will help? Thanks again!
