In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) β Security and Firewall] Blacklist ManagerUpdate – I have no idea why, but after backing up the .htaccess file I can now add additional IP addresses to the Blacklist Manager. Some things in this universe just can’t be explained I guess! π

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) β Security and Firewall] Blacklist ManagerI have checked the .htaccess file and fifteen IP addresses are present. I have tried a number of different formats, all according to the suggested ones, and on a separate line. I can enter the IP address but for some reason it will not save it. No errors are given for the failure to save.
Thanks for your assistance.

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) β Security and Firewall] Blacklist ManagerThank you kindly for the reply. Is there any reason why the Blacklist Manager might not accept any other IPs after 15 have been entered?
Would it be more prudent to install a specific Blacklist manager plugin (if there is one)?

In reply to: Drag/drop of widgets not workingOk I found a solution. Go to the Widgets page and disable the “accessibility mode” by clicking on the Screen Options in the upper right. The universe then unfolds as it should. This is a great place to find answers

In reply to: [Notifications] Nice Plugin ButThanks again Chris for your help. I will try to add that code and see if I get it right. If not I can leave it to be unsticky(?)
I envy you young people to be able to understand all this coding stuff. For seniors like myself, we need simple things πForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Notifications] Nice Plugin ButThank you Chris. I know absolutely nothing about editing files but was able to muddle my way through it. I notice some of the images and text appear behind the notification and some appear in front. Not exactly as I prefer, but it will do until I can find something better. Thank you for the prompt reply, I did not expect that. π

In reply to: Link on page not updatingI am marking this as resolved as I believe I have found a fix. I saved the web page as a text file to the desktop and then checked the html for the URL. What I found is that WordPress actually published the link as an image even though in the Edit Page mode the URL is active and the image updated.
Using the Edit Image mode, I went to LINK URL and changed the code to the location required by the clear sky chart. So far it looks like this worked. (fingers crossed)

In reply to: Allow contributors to add media filesAs I recall, I just had to change the user’s role. Once that was done, the problem was resolved.
