Hi,
I’ve managed to get version 2.3 working again.
Here’s what happened and what I did to get around the Fatal Error.
1. I clicked the update button for specifically Yoast SEO plugin version 2.2.1 on the Plugins page on my WordPress admin console.
2. Upon updating, my entire website crashed and I got the error code “Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/ipadclub/public_html/mybeanbean.com/wp-includes/query.php on line 28”.
3. I login to my CPanel, and accessed the File Manager. Went into WP-Content/Plugins/Wordpress-SEO folder and renamed it to WordPress-SEO-temp.
4. My entire website was back online and the latest version 2.3 Yoast SEO plugin was listed as “Deactivated” in the Plugins page on my WordPress admin console.
5. I went ahead and click “Activate” Yoast SEO plugin version 2.3 from the wordpress admin console.
6. The latest version 2.3 of Yoast SEO plugin worked again without any trouble to my website.I hope this helps.
What I did to fix this temporarily was login to my CPanel and using File Manager, I went to the Plugin folder and renamed the Yoast SEO folder.
This way, the plugin was deactivated and the website is now up and running again until a fix is provided.
Thanks.
Same problem here. Just updated the plugin and my website just crashed with the following error code.
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/ipadclub/public_html/mybeanbean.com/wp-includes/query.php on line 28
My website address: http://www.mybeanbean.com.
Please help to provide guidelines to fix this ASAP.
Thanks.
