The same thing is happening with our site. When we share our home page url, it shows the featured image from the most recent post instead of what we have set for the home page.

Thank you! I found that Komper (a product comparison plugin) was the plugin causing the issue. I am able to deactivate Komper, change the colors in WPtouch and then reactivate Komper. Perfect.
