Thanks so much for replying so quickly. I added:

h1 { font-family: “ff-market-web”, cursive;}
h2 { font-family: “ff-market-web”,cursive;}

I put it in Settings/typekit fonts/Custom CSS rules (see screenshot):

and also put the same in Appearance/Edit css here:

I am sure I am missing something really obvious as I am quite new to all of this and have only just moved over to wordpress.org (I was on .com where FF market was included in the font pack so I never had to do any of this!)
