I apologize for this late reply – I just accepted a post from the post list rather than from within the post editor itself and I still had the same problem.

Hello, thank you so much for your reply! I am using version 2.7.7 of the plugin, the free version.
Currently I have it set up to replace the date. But, it doesn’t update both the publish and modified date – it will keep the modified date as the last time it was previously modified (so like, some date in 2019 when the publish date is now 8/2021).
So now whenever I republish a post, I have to immediately go back in and hit “update” and then it will then change the modified date to match the publish date. If you have any further thoughts on this issue I would greatly appreciate it, thanks again 🙂
